Book Fair Chair for 2023/2024 school year

Do you LOVE the Scholastic Book Fair? It's definitely a favorite among our students, and we are looking for a couple of amazing volunteers to lead it next year. The incredible Dana Wenz will be stepping down as the chairperson, and she's excited to teach you her magical ways! This is such a fun way to support our school! Step it UP Fall Fundraiser

We are SO excited to be partnering with POP on this year's SOLE fundraiser! 


On 9/20/2022 we will be kicking off the event to help raise funds that will benefit all of our students and staff. Our Step It UP! program, will help with funding Teacher Grants, Field Trips, Student Scholarships and so much more, including new technology, curriculum enhancements, and innovative learning materials.


It is going to be great, and we are excited to get started!

*Our donation deadline is October 4th, 2022. Checks can be made payable to Smart Middle School PTSA and dropped off in the main office. Please be sure to include your child's name and 6th hour teacher on the envelope.

Get into the GAP!

PTSA GOAL ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM (GAP)

Each marking period, this program allows your child(ren) to achieve a goal in:

*citizenship,

*academics,

*reading, and

*community service.

Students who complete all four goals, during each of their three years at Smart, are honored during their 8th grade year. The goal for each marking period is outlined below:

1st Marking period: Citizenship

2nd Marking period: GPA

3rd Marking period: Reading Completion

4th marking period goal: Community Service

**For the first two marking periods, students will automatically obtain their goal if they qualify. No need to hand anything in.

For the last two marking periods, students will need to complete and turn in the forms, attached below, by the dates listed.

Community Service Information:

All students are to complete a minimum of 10 hours of community service to qualify for the 4th marking period goal.

PTSA Meeting Schedule 2022/2023
