PTSA GOAL ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM (GAP)

Each marking period, this program allows your child(ren) to achieve a goal in:

*citizenship,

*academics,

*reading, and

*community service.

The goal for each marking period is outlined below:

1st Marking Period: Citizenship

This will be automatically calculated by the office based off of report card citizenship marks. You do not need to turn anything in to achieve this goal.

2nd Marking Period: Grade Point Average

This will be automatically calculated by the office based off of report card grades. You do not need to turn anything in to achieve this goal.

3rd Marking Period: Reading

In order to achieve this goal, you will need to read at least 400 pages during the third marking period. You will need to turn in your reading log to the counseling office by March 22, 2024 to achieve this goal. No late forms will be accepted.

4th Marking Period: Community Service

In order to achieve this goal, you will need to complete at least 10 hours of community service. These hours may be accumulated throughout the entire school year, not just the fourth marking period. You will need to turn in your community service form to the counseling office by May 24, 2024 to achieve this goal. Each service job must be signed by the supervising adult. You may not receive money or compensation for completing these service hours. No late forms will be accepted.

Students will receive a small reward for each goal achieved throughout every year of middle school. Children that achieve all four goals during all three years will be recognized at their 8th grade ceremony. Please contact Jillian Moutafis at JILLIANMOUTAFIS@realestateone.com with any questions regarding this program.
