Keep showing that smart style: PRIDE-RESPECT-ATTITUDE-DETERMINATION.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION – WE NEED FAMILIES TO USE THE BOX TOP APP!

Unfortunately, Smart is losing out on thousands of dollars we can use for special projects because BT4E has gone digital. Instead of clipping the box top and sending them to school to be counted and delivered to the company, we must now use the digital system. PLEASE help by downloading the app – registering for Smart: 574931.

Please make this part of your weekly shopping routine. Here is a quick slideshow to highlight how easy it is to help out! https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1kTQoOhlrk6FsUb706kSNHpNR_Pf2rxCJVXMBwXgWLek/edit?usp=sharing

PTA Reflections Contest, 2020

Have you told your child how much they matter? Does your child understand how much they matter? Why they matter? What do they see when they look at themselves? What qualities can they share with others? Everybody matters, and confidence in knowing why they matter is such an amazing quality to have, in itself. This has been a tough year so far, and it is a great time to reflect on why each of us matters. Give your kids a chance to show what they see when they express why they matter, through art.

We are asking parents to encourage kids to consider participating in the 2020 - 2021 National PTA Reflections Program. The theme this year is, "I Matter Because...". This provides your child with the opportunity to show what they find when they look deep within themselves. Kids can enter:

Film

Dance/choreography

Writing

Photography

Visual arts

MORE WORK?? No!  Students are able to use projects from their art class, writings from their literature classes, or any other projects they are working on in school that would apply to the theme.  Many teachers at the school have offered to help out by reviewing work prior to submission!

THE DETAILS:

This year's theme is: I matter because......

Due Date: Nov 13, 2020
